WINDSYNC PERFORMS THROUGHOUT GRAND TETON NATIONAL PARK AND TOWN OF JACKSON AS GRAND TETON MUSIC FESTIVAL’S RESIDENT WIND QUINTET

JACKSON HOLE, WYOMING – July 18, 2013 – Grand Teton Music Festival is pleased to announce the remainder of WindSync’s 2013 Music in Nature and Arts in Nature summer series.  Acclaimed by Jackson audiences, WindSync was the winner of the Victor Elmaleh Concert Artists Guild Competition and Sylvia Ann Hewlett Adventurous Artist Prize. The Houston Chronicle describes WindSync as, “revolutionary chamber musicians.” WindSync’s mission is to inspire audiences through innovative, interactive chamber music concerts and educational programs.

The remainder of the 2013 Music in Nature summer series offers performances throughout Grand Teton National Park: Colter Bay Visitor Center, Craig Thomas Discovery & Visitor Center and Jackson Lake Lodge. Additionally, the Art Association of Jackson Hole, Center for the Arts, National Museum of Wildlife Art, Dancers’ Workshop, Children’s Learning Center, and the Town of Jackson will host WindSync as part of Grand Teton Music Festival’s Arts in Nature program, supported in part by a grant from C3 Collaborating for a Creative Community – an Initiative of The Center of Wonder.

WindSync returns to the Craig Thomas Discovery and Visitor center on August 6 at 2 p.m., with additional performances August 8 at 11 a.m. and 12 p.m.  WindSync will perform at Jackson Lake Lodge in Grand Teton National Park on August 5 at 5:30 p.m. Colter Bay Visitor Center will host WindSync August 5 and August 6 at 11a.m. and 12 p.m. WindSync performs again on July 26 and August 7 at the National Museum of Wildlife Art in Jackson at 11a.m. On July 19, the National Museum of Wildlife Art’s  “Painting Project for Children” begins at 2 p.m. with WindSync performing. The Center for the Arts hosts WindSync July 31 and  August 7 at 5 p.m. The Art Association of Jackson Hole will feature WindSync at Miller Park on July 21 at 12 p.m. WindSync performs at Town Square on July 26 and August 9 at 4 p.m.
