Executive Assistant

Grand Teton Music Festival (GTMF) is seeking a motivated and experienced professional to be the Executive Assistant to the Executive Director. The ideal candidate has strong verbal and written communication skills, is highly organized and personable.  Must be able to prioritize projects, meet deadlines and maintain composure under pressure. Candidates should be team oriented and have the ability to work independently in a high-paced environment.  Duties include: board communications; scheduling and arranging meetings; drafting meeting minutes and general correspondence; coordinating special projects; and other office work.  Knowledge of classical music is helpful.  Proficiency in Microsoft Office and FileMaker Pro is desired, however similar word processing, spreadsheet, email, calendar and database skills are acceptable.

This year-round position reports to the Executive Director and serves as a liaison to the GTMF Board of Directors. Salary commensurate with qualifications. The Festival offers a competitive benefit package.

SEASONAL EMPLOYMENT

The Grand Teton Music Festival hires full-time and part-time, paid seasonal staff for our busy summer season. Applications for the 2012 summer season will be collected in early spring of 2012, hiring will be complete by April 1, 2012. The following paid positions are available:

  • Merchandise Staff
  • Ticket Office Staff
  • Concessions Staff
In addition, the Festival provides excellent experiences for those wishing to build their resumes with Summer Internships in various departments of the Festival.  All internships are unpaid and vary according to department.  Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.
