FULL TIME EMPLOYMENT

The Grand Teton Music Festival has a year-round, full-time, salaried staff of 12 professionals, is an EOE, and offers a competetive benefit package that includes health insurance, retirement savings plans and a generous paid time off schedule.

There are no full-time positions open at this time.


SEASONAL EMPLOYMENT

The Grand Teton Music Festival hires full-time and part-time, paid seasonal staff for our busy summer season. Applications for the 2010 summer season are due February 15, 2010. The following positions are available:

Merchandise Staff: Merchandise Associates are responsible for selling GTMF merchandise to festival patrons. Must be able to work efficiently around the counter, make change accurately, and other duties as assigned. Positive customer and staff relations are essential.

Ticket Office Staff: Ticket office staff will work primarily out of Walk Festival Hall selling concert tickets to the general public-- including walk-ups, telephone, and mail order sales. The position includes being point person of general Festival information, maintains accurate sales records and assists the Marketing department with various tasks. Candidate must be highly organized, flexible, patient, a good communicator, and be able to maintain grace under pressure.

String Quartet Residency Program
The Grand Teton Music Festival will contract a young professional string quartet to be in residence at the Festival for four weeks, Summer 2010 (June 28 – July 26).  The quartet’s primary responsibility will be to perform mini concerts at multiple locations in Grand Teton National Park, as part of a collaborative project with the Park.  The group will also play at several locations in the town of Jackson and Teton Village to promote the Music Festival as needed.

SUMMER INTERNSHIPS

The Grand Teton Music Festival welcomes interns in the following departments. These positions are unpaid, intern perks include concert tickets, a dynamic work environment and professional experience.

Special Events Intern
The Special Events Department is looking for a creative and flexible team-player, with an interest in food and wine and event planning to assist with the execution of the Jackson Hole Wine Auction and a multitude of Music Festival events.

Applicants must be over 21 and must be available from the beginning of May through August 15. Position is unpaid and hours are negotiable. Intern will leave with a familiarization of non-profit fundraising, an introduction into the food and wine world, and hands-on experience with large and small-scale event planning,

Marketing Intern: The primary assignment will be to assist the Marketing Department with various tasks and projects throughout the summer.  Position is unpaid and hours are negotiable.

The Grand Teton Music Festival (GTMF) is a non-profit, 501 (c) 3 organization presenting 40 classical music concerts each summer, 4 winter performances, and many education and outreach programs.
