The Collective performs July 17, 2013, for the Grand Teton Music Festival’s Wednesday Spotlight concert at Walk Festival Hall in Teton Village
JACKSON HOLE, WYOMING – July 12, 2013 – Grand Teton Music Festival presents The Collective on Wednesday, July 17 at 8 p.m. in Walk Festival Hall. The Collective was founded by Street Corner Symphony’s Jeremy Lister, a second-season finalist on NBC’s “The Sing-Off,” and is made up of nine singer-songwriters that gained acclaim on season three “The Sing-Off.” Included in the cast are Dove-award gospel artist Rachel Lampa, Sam Brooker (of folk/soul duo Sam & Ruby), and Jackson’s own Isaac Hayden, son of Pastor Paul Hayden of the Presbyterian Church of Jackson Hole. The Collective performs a cappella arrangements of popular music by diverse composers, including Adele, Bob Dylan Amy Winehouse, Isaac Hayes, Bruno Mars and Arcade Fire. Also, group members take the spotlight in a showcase of original compositions.
The Collective appears as a part of the Festival’s Spotlight series, which presents individual artists and groups that perform everything from jazz and classical crossover to Broadway hits, Big Band sounds, flamenco, and more. Coming attractions include Christopher O’Riley, piano, Entreflamenco Company; The Richard Brown Orchestra and Bravo Broadway!
Tickets to The Collective spotlight concert on July 17 are $35 for adults and $10 for students and available online at www.gtmf.org or by calling 307.733.1128. All Spotlight performances are held at Walk Festival Hall located in Teton Village and begin at 8 p.m. Locals’ rush tickets are available 30 minutes before the concert at a price of $15 for anyone with a valid Wyoming or Idaho I.D.
