While concertgoers to our 2010 Season will decide for themselves “Where will the music take you?”, Gypsy music has been on a well-traveled journey that’s lasted centuries! The exotic sounds of The Gypsies arrive on the stage of Walk Festival Hall as violinist Ference Illenyi and his Gypsy band present a program as colorful as the style of music itself. From traditional Roma music, to sounds steeped in Spanish flamenco, the jazz of Django Reinhardt, and Jewish klezmer music, this audience favorite is sure to please.
