Festival Orchestra Concert

Music Director Donald Runnicles and the Festival Orchestra pull out all the
stops for this spectacular performance. First, sizzling young Dutch violin
superstar Janine Jansen collaborates with her Ukrainian counterpart, violist
Maxim Rysanov, for Mozart’s sublime Sinfonia Concertante. The second half
of the program features Runnicles’ own concert arrangement of sensational
and sensuous comic opera, Der Rosenkavalier, sung by a trio of opera stars
from the San Francisco Opera.
