Let the music take you and your family on an exotic musical adventure to far-off lands and through the orchestra with our children’s concert, 6:15 Music Machine! Guest conductor Mei-Ann Chen and the Music Machine (Festival Orchestra) tell the stories of a speedy bumblebee and one thousand and one Arabian nights through the colorful music of Rimsky-Korsakov. Listeners will also be treated to Benjamin Britten’s lively introduction to classical music, Young Person’s Guide to the Orchestra. This free, all-ages family concert is recommended for children ages 3 and up.
